Abstract

The location of the characteristics and activities in it largely determines the comfort factor of a room. To overcome this, we need a cooling device with a cooling load that suits the needs of the space. As a place for servers and residents, the IT room requires a cooling load and AC capacity suitable for the room's needs. The research method carried out is literature review and observation, observing various activities in it and measuring the temperature of the outer and inner walls as well as various equipment to support the needs in the room. Calculations are carried out with a literature review. The calculation results obtained from all total heat loads are 5212,24544458  Btu. And the amount of power installed in the IT room of PERTAMINA Hospital is 9000 Btu. So it can be installed AC with a capacity of 1/2 pk, which is enough to save power and cost maintenance.
